Door lock release time and reminder signal

- Acoustic and optical message:
External alarms have to be connected for acoustic and optical messages.
- Permanent release via operation:
1. Permanent release with manual activation:
Once deactivated, the door can be accessed any number of times without a reminder signal.
Activation is performed by way of manual operation using an ID pass card or key.
2. Permanent release with automatic activation:
Once deactivated, the door can be remain open for any length of time without a reminder signal.
Activation is performed automatically when the door is closed.
- Manual activation:
The door can be opened at any time after activation. If the permissible
door release time is exceeded (door open time minus door open signal),
a reminder signal is emitted every 20 seconds.
The proX Keyswitch must then be manually reactivated (see graphic on
the right).
- Automatic activation:
This function is intended for temporary release. Exceeding the release
time results in an optical and acoustical message (see graphic below):

Irrespective of the automatic activation, the state can be changed at all times via an operating function.

Keyswitch BUS-2 is inactive.
Period during which the door is permitted to remain open after authorized opening before
an optical and acoustical message is emitted.
(Default setting: 3 minutes).
This period indicates how long the reminder signal of the proX Keyswitch BUS-2 is
activated before expiry of the door open period. During this period, the door can be
closed without an optical or acoustical message being emitted (Default setting: 2 minu-
tes).
