Detector group inputs

Programming of the Detector group inputs via WINFEM Advanced or IQ PanelControl.
The ProX Keyswitch provides 5 detector group inputs. DG1 has a clearing function for connecting self-storing
detectors (e.g. passive glass breakage sensors).
As regards the function all inputs are identically configured as differential detector groups.
For every input either an integrated 12k1 resistor or external end-of-line resistor can be used.
Z-wiring possible for connection contacts.
The EOL resistor and the monitoring range can be set via control panel programmig as follows:
-
EOL resistor:
-
Monitoring range:
Inputs 1 to 4:
The Inputs 1 - 4 can be assigned to a detector group and a specific function via appropriate
functions in control panel programming.
Possible functions: - without local alarm
Input 5:
The function "tamper" is permanently assigned to input 5.
Function input 1 (DG1, glass breakage sensors )
This input has a clearing function for connecting self-storing detectors (e.g. passive glass breakage sensors).
The clearing signal of the control panel resets status storing detectors without logic after triggering.
Function input 2 (DG2, opening contact)
The opening contact of the door that requires monitoring is connected to this input. The triggering of this input
affects the door open monitoring (see following chapter).
Function input 3 (DG3)
This input can be used for connecting any contacts.
Special function "With local signalling (non storing)": If this input is triggered when the ProX Keyswitch is activated,
a signal is emitted (acoustical and optical message) during the trigger period. A latch or bolt switching contact
should be connected to this input.
Function input 4 (DG4)
This input can be used for connecting any contacts.
Special function "Second key-operated switch" (external operation with key-operated switch).
When the button is pressed, the detector group has to be closed.
As an alternative, 2 types of special functions can be selected:
1.
Second switching device. The operating function of the remote button corresponds to operation on the
proX Keyswitch using a key or ID pass card.
2.
The remote button can only be used for temporary release.
Door release and opening time depend on the programming.
Alarm stop and activation are not possible.
Activation is performed automatically when the door shuts.
Typical application: An employee is in an adjacent room (e.g. storage room) outside of the secured area
and wants to return to the secured area.
Function input 5 (DG5, Tamper)
The DG5 input is used for recording opening and tear-off monitoring of the alarm signalling device. Monitoring
in series is by means of closed-circuit current via an end-of-line resistor in the alarm signalling device. An
actuation is transmitted to the control panel as tamper.
