Inspection of the turbidity sensors InPro 8600 i
Thank you for buying the verification kit for the InPro
METTLER TOLEDO. The kit is for periodic verification of the sensor, and calibration if required.
The verification kit includes an integrated turbiglass (solid reference). The turbiglass value
is determined by the user for each turbidity InPro 8600 i series sensor the kit is used with
(the verification kit is supplied without a sensor). It is highly recommended to use the verification
kit to determine the turbiglass value, prior to installing a new sensor.
Procedure
Notice:
The verification kit has to be matched with each InPro 8600 i series sensor before it
can be used for verification. It is necessary to record the matching value(s) for future
reference. Each subsequent verification of a sensor is based on these recorded val-
ues.
It is possible that matching values may differ slightly between two new sensors. This does not
mean a sensor or the verification kit is at fault. Please consult your local METTLER TOLEDO
representative for further information.
