b) Assembly
• The product is protected according to IP 44 and may be installed and operated indoors and
outdoors. The product must be mounted on a vertical wall; always observe the right assembly
position; see chapter „Assembly".
• The product must only be operated stationarily installed, but never at or in vehicles.
• Install the product so that the camera does not point right at bright light sources (e.g. the sun or
spotlights). This will not only cause an overmodulated and useless image, but also may damage
the image sensor it permanently exposed.
• Do not use the product inside of rooms or in bad ambient conditions where flammable gases,
vapours or explosive dust may be or are present! There is a danger of explosion!
• The product must not be exposed to extreme temperatures, strong vibration or strong mecha-
nical strain.
• When installing the device, make sure that the connection line is neither pinched nor damaged
by sharp edges.
• Do not attach any objects (e.g. decorations) to the product; there is a danger of fire!
• A certain minimum distance must be complied with between the exit opening of the light beam
and the illuminated surface. For this, observe the scripture on the product and the chapter
„Symbol explanations".

c) Connection

• The product must only be operated with mains voltage (see „Technical Data"). Never try to
operate the product with any other voltage.
A device for all-pin separation from the mains voltage must be provided on the installation side
(e.g. FI circuit breaker).
• The product is built in protection class I; the protective ground must be connected.
If there is no mains supply line with protective ground available at the assembly site, the pro-
duct must not be connected/operated there. In this case, place a new mains supply line with
protective ground.
• Connection is only possible when voltage-free/powered down. Turn off the power on all poles
of the mains supply by removing the respective electric circuit fuse or switching off the circuit
breaker and then deactivating the associated fault circuit interrupter. Protect it from unautho-
rised re-activation, e.g. with a danger sign.
Finally, check that the mains supply line is free of voltage using a suitable meter before perfor-
ming the connection.
• The product cannot be dimmed.
• Make sure that all electrical connections and connection cables comply with the regulations
and the operating instructions.
