10. Deleting Recordings

The surveillance camera offers the option of deleting pictures/videos from the inserted SD/SDHC memory
card.
We recommend copying the pictures/videos on the memory card to a computer for safety re-
asons and to view them there before they are deleted.
The deletion mode at the surveillance camera should only be used if undesired recordings result
at commissioning.
• Briefly push the button „M" (9), the camera icon will flash at the upper left of the display.
• Briefly push the button „8" (10) 7x until a waste bin icon and the display „_dEL_" flash at the lower left
of the display.
• Briefly push the button „5" (12) for confirmation.
• „d_ESC" now flashes in the display.
• Use the buttons „8" (10) or „2" (11) to select the desired function.
„d_ESC" Cancel
„d_ONE" Delete the last recording
„d_ALL" Delete all recordings
• Briefly push the button „5" (12) for confirmation.
Deleted recordings are lost permanently.
• Briefly push the button „M" (9) to leave deletion mode.

11. Connection to a Computer

The surveillance camera has a mini USB connection through which the data of the inserted SD/SDHC
memory card can be read.
Connect the mini USB connection to a free USB port of your computer via the enclosed USB cable. The
required drivers are contained in the operating system (e.g. Windows XP and up), and the surveillance
camera does not contain any driver CD because of this.
In Windows, the file manager will show a new drive through which the data can be read.
The USB port only supports USB1.1. Therefore, we recommend reading via a conventional card
reader.
