Switches the temperature and
door warning tones off.
The door warning tone activates if
the appliance door has been open for
longer than half a minute.
The temperature warning tone
activates and display 2 flashes, if it
becomes too warm in the freezer
compartment, i.e. the frozen food is in
danger of spoiling. The Fhighest
temperature" reached in the freezer
compartment is simultaneous
recorded.
The warning tone may sound and the
display flash without there being any
danger to the frozen food:
S when the appliance is switched on
for the first time.
S when large quantities of fresh food
are placed in the appliance.
S if the freezer compartment door is
open for too long.
After button 6 has been pressed,
the warning tone is cancelled and
display 2 stops flashing.
At the same time, the highest
temperature" reached is shown
for 5 seconds in display 1.

Main switch on appliance switches
the whole appliance on and off.

The air at the back of the appliance will
heat up. This warm air must be allowed to
freely escape, otherwise the refrigerating
machine must perform more. This raises
electricity consumption. Hence, the
air inlet and outlet apertures should never
be covered or blocked off!
