The warning signal may switch on
without any risk to the frozen food
- when the appliance is switched on
- when large quantities of fresh food
are placed in the appliance
When the warning signal switches off,
the acoustic warning" is automati
cally reset to standby when the freezer
compartment has reached its operat
ing temperature again.

5 alarm" display illuminates at
the same time as the warning signal
is emitted, i.e. if the freezer
compartment is too warm.
The alarm" display goes out when
the freezer compartment has reached
its operating temperature.
The alarm" display flashes following
a power failure or if the temperature in
the appliance has or had risen above
-4 C. (Check odour and appearance
of frozen food to determine whether it
is still edible).

Press the button 4 to stop the
display from flashing. The display
is reset to standby.
6 super button
(Fast freeze)
Used to switch fast freeze on and off
Before placing large quantities of fresh
food (more than 2 kg) in the freezer,
switch on fast freeze.
4-6 hours is generally adequate.
To utilise the maximum freezing
capacity, switch on fast freeze
24 hours in advance.
After approx. 2.5 days the freezer will
automatically switch back to the
temperature selected prior to fast
freeze.

The climatic class can be found on the
rating plate and specifies the ambient
temperatures at which the appliance
may be operated.

The air at the back of the appliance will
heat up. This warm air must be allowed to
freely escape, otherwise the refrigerating
machine must perform more. This raises
electricity consumption. Hence, the
air inlet and outlet apertures should never
be covered or blocked off!
