WARNINGS
• Read these instructions carefully before as-
sembling and installing the product. Do not
allow anybody that has not read the instruc-
tions to use the product.
• Keep this instruction booklet for future ref-
erence.
• Each country has different safety laws and
regulations for the transportation of children
in cars. For this reason, contact your local au-
thorities for further information.
• WARNING! According to accident statistics,
a vehicle's rear seat is generally safer than the
front seat: we therefore suggest installing
the car seat on the rear seat of the vehicle.
More specifically, the central rear seat is the
safest seat when fitted with a 3-point safety
belt.
• Make sure that all the passengers in the ve-
hicle know how to release the child from the
child car seat in the event of an emergency.
• If the child car seat is fitted to the front seat
of the car with the front airbag installed, in
order to ensure maximum safety push the
seat back as far as possible while bearing in
mind the comfort of the passenger sitting in
the seat directly behind it.
• Make sure that all folding or rotating car seats
are always securely fastened in place; if not,
they could be dangerous.
• When fitting the child car seat in the car
make sure that no car seat or door can inter-
fere with it.
• Never fit the child car seat to a car seat if it
is only equipped with a waist belt (2-point).
)
• No car seat can guarantee the total safety of
kG
your child in the event of an accident, but
using this product reduces the risk of serious
injury or death.
• The risk of serious injuries to your child increas-
es, not only in the case of accidents, but also
in other circumstances (sudden braking etc.),
if these instructions are not followed carefully:
always check that the child car seat is correctly
secured to the vehicle's seat.
• If the child car seat is damaged, deformed or
worn out, it must be replaced, as its original
safety features may have been compromised.
• This product must not be modified in any
way unless the modification has been ap-
proved by the manufacturer.
• Do not fit any accessories, spare parts or
components not supplied or approved by
the manufacturer.
• Never leave the child unattended in the child
car seat for any reason.
• Never place anything except an approved
accessory between the vehicle seat and the
child car seat or between the child car seat
and your child: in the event of an accident
the car seat may not work properly.
• If the vehicle has been left in the sun, check
that the different parts of the child car seat
are not too hot before seating your child in
it: in such cases, in order to avoid burns al-
low the car seat to cool down before seating
your child.
• Even a minor accident can damage the child
car seat, even if this damage is not visible to
the naked eye. It must therefore be replaced.
• Do not use second-hand child car seats: they
may have suffered structural damage which,
although not visible to the naked eye, may
compromise the safety of the product.
• Artsana does not accept any responsibility
for the inappropriate use of the product.
• The seat fabric must only be replaced with an-
other one approved by the manufacturer as it
forms an integral part of the child car seat. To
ensure the safety of the child car seat, never use
it without its fabric cover.
• Check that the safety harness strap is not twist-
ed and prevent the strap or any part of the child
car seat from remaining trapped in the car door,
or from rubbing against sharp edges.
