• The child car seat safety harnesses are always
at the right height, i.e. shoulder height (Gr. 1).
• The diagonal car seatbelt straps are always at
the right height thanks to the belt slots incor-
porated in the headrest C (Gr. 2-3).
Use the headrest and harness adjustment
button (A) on the top of the backrest to adjust
the child seat headrest (Fig. 14) to the desired
height.
9. RECLINING
WARNING! The child car seat has 3 recline
positions in Gr. 1 (35A).
The child car seat must be reclined ONLY in
positions 1 and 2 in Gr. 2/3. Position 3 CANNOT
be used. (35B).
To recline the child car seat use the recline
handle (K) and set to the desired position de-
pending on the group.
We recommend reclining the seat before
seating your child.
WARNING: After adjusting, make sure
that the harnesses are tight.
10. CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
HOW TO CLEAN THE FABRIC COVER
The child car seat's fabric cover can be re-
moved and cleaned by hand or in a washing
machine at 30°C. Please refer to the cleaning
instructions on the fabric label, which illus-
trates the following washing symbols:
Machine washable at 30°C.
Do not bleach
Do not tumble dry
Do not iron
Do not dry clean
Never use abrasive detergents or solvents. Do
not spin dry the cover and leave to dry with-
out wringing it out. To remove the various sec-
tions of the fabric cover from the child car seat
frame, follow the instructions below:
Only if the child car seat is configured for Gr.
1, follow the instructions (from 1 to 12) de-
scribed in chapter 5. CHANGE OF CHILD CAR
SEAT SET-UP FROM GROUP 1 (9-18 KG) TO
GROUP 2-3 (15-36 KG).
1. Remove the lining from the headrest (Fig. 36).
2. Remove the external elastic from the diago-
nal belt slot (C) (Fig. 37).
3. Remove the cover from the foot area (Fig. 38).
4. Remove the cover from the side structure
having unhooked it from the hooks on the
structure (Fig. 39).
5. Remove the fabric from the backrest, unfas-
tening the buttons (Fig. 40).
6. Remove the cover from the top of the child
car seat (Fig. 41).
HOW TO CLEAN THE PLASTIC OR METAL
PARTS
Clean the plastic and coated metal parts with
a damp cloth only. Never use abrasive deter-
gents or solvents.
The movable parts of the child car seat must
not be lubricated.
CHECKING THE CONDITION OF THE COM-
PONENTS
It is advisable to regularly check the condition
of the following components to make sure
they are not damaged or worn:
• Fabric cover: check that the padding does
not come out from the seams. Check the
condition of the seams: they must always be
intact and undamaged.
• Harness straps: check that the fabric lining is
not frayed or the harness strap worn out in
the parts corresponding to the adjustment
strap, crotch, shoulders and harness adjust-
ment plate.
• Plastic parts: check that plastic parts are not
worn out, damaged or faded.
WARNING! If the child car seat is deformed or
worn out it must be replaced: its original safe-
ty features may be compromised.
STORING THE PRODUCT
When it is not fitted in the car, it is advisable
to store the child car seat in a dry place, away
from sources of heat and protected from dust,
humidity and direct sunlight.
DISPOSING OF THE PRODUCT
When the child car seat no longer complies
with the original safety standards, stop using it
and dispose of it at an appropriate collection
point. In order to respect the environment,
