additional mountable solenoid or mechanically using the manual
override on the valve.
The DO22 and DO30 3/2-way valves can be combined with the
electrical solenoid coils of type 30MM-ATEX in accordance with
PTB 09 ATEX 2041 X of AVENTICS. The interconnection has been
tested for compliance with explosion protection.
The DO22 and DO30 3/2-way valves can also be combined with
other AVENTICS solenoids not listed above. However, conformity
with the ATEX directive is not ensured.

Place the valve (a) on the connection surface and fasten it with
the provided screws (b).

Assembling DO22 G1/8 and DO22 M5
1. Use the through holes to securely mount the valve body.
2. Connect the compressed air to the G1/8 or M5 connectors.
4 Assembling the solenoid and valve
1. Loosen the knurled nut (a) and remove the plain washer (b)
from the axis of the valve.
2. Slide the solenoid (d) and the plain washer (b) onto the axis of
the valve (c) and secure the solenoid with the knurled nut (a).

5 Manual override
Note:
The manual override is not available for all models.
The valve can be switched manually using the manual override.
The manual override is available in versions with and without
detent:
W In versions with detent, the valve switches and remains in the
switched position until the manual override is reset.
W In the versions without detent, the valve resets as soon as the
manual override is released.
Manually switching the valve:

Depending on the type, the override occurs either by rotating,
pressing or a combination. Use a small screwdriver to operate
the manual override accordingly.
7 Disassembly and Exchange
When ordering spare parts, include the material number located
on the devices (label, rating plate).
8 Disposal
Dispose of packaging and used parts in accordance with the
regulations of the country where the device has been installed.

2 Consignes de sécurité
Utilisation conforme
Les distributeurs mécaniques sont conçus en tant que
distributeurs pilotes et d'alimentation pour installations à
raccordement pneumatique et ne doivent être utilisés qu'en
conformité avec les indications contenues dans la documentation
technique de la société AVENTICS et les indications inscrites sur la
plaque signalétique. Les distributeurs ne sont autorisés que pour
une utilisation conforme et agréée, dans le domaine industriel. Le
constructeur exclut toute responsabilité et garantie en cas de non
respect !
Utilisation non conforme
Les distributeurs ne doivent pas être utilisés dans les installations
disposant d'une protection cathodique anti-corrosion. Des
mesures spéciales sont possibles (ponts de mise à la terre
supplémentaires), mais requièrent toutefois une consultation du
fabricant.
ATEX
Les distributeurs satisfont aux normes et prescriptions en vigueur
et sont des moyens d'exploitation sans source d'allumage
intrinsèque (BopZ) selon la directive 94/4CE. En cas de
fonctionnement conforme, ces distributeurs ne disposent
d'aucune source d'explosion intrinsèque et ne reçoivent aucun
marquage selon la protection contre l'explosion. Lors du montage
des distributeurs complets (mécanique avec bobine), respecter les
dispositions d'installation (par exemple EN 60079-14) pour les
installations en zones explosibles. Les distributeurs disposent de
raccordements pour conduites d'air comprimé. De l'air comprimé
produit et préparé hors de la zone explosible ou du gaz inerte sont
utilisés comme vecteur.
