7. Operation

7.1. Turn ON the camera

Any time after the batteries and SD card have been inserted, you can switch on the camera.

OFF / ON
Select "OFF" if you don't want the date and time of the image
capture imprinted on every photo.
Allows you to set an ID number for the camera (6 digits/letters).
Such function can help you identify from where and from which
camera the photos are.

You can choose to hear a beep sound or not when you press a
button.

Select "ON" then press "OK" to enable password protection for
your camera (4 digits).

Determines after how long the WIFI will automatically be turned
off.
When the camera is in ON or SETUP mode and the application is
no longer used, if you forgot to deactivate the WIFI, the camera
will automatically disconnect it after 1, 2 or 3 minutes (depending
on the setting of the "WIFI auto OFF" parameter) and will return
to ON mode or SETUP mode.

Formatting the SD card in the trail camera before using it for the
first time is strongly recommended, especially when the card has
been used in other devices. An SD card formatted in another
device may not be compatible.
WARNING: When you format a SD memory card, the operating
system erases all information and files on the card.

Select "Yes" to reset the camera back to the factory default
settings.
This parameter shows the firmware version information.
Allows you to update the firmware.
