5. INSTRUCTION MANUAL - control element / remote control

Control element (6)

The control panel has 7 keys.
Fan power
The fan output is controlled via the first
four buttons:
Key "1" = low fan output
Key "2" = average fan power
Key "3" = high fan capacity
Int" key = Intensive level
To switch on, press any key. To switch
off, press the backlit key. The intensive
level automatically switches back to the
high motor output ( level 3 ) after three
minutes.
Automatic follow-up time
Press the key with the (clock symbol) to
activate the automatic follow-up time.
The model switches back by one step
every 5 minutes and then switches itself
off automatically. When the automatic
overrun function is active, the button
with the time symbol flashes.
Illumination
Push the button with the light icon to
turn on the light. Press the button again
to turn off the backlight. Press and hold
the button to switch off the backlight.
LED lighting dimmed. By long pressing
of the automatic overtravel button the
colour temp. can be adjusted. (2700 to
6500K) of the illumination.
Grease filter cleaning display *
If the grease filter indicator lights up
(right button), the filter must be cleaned.
After cleaning the filter, press and hold
the button for 10 seconds. The indicator
light goes out. The grease filter display
is activated after max. 15 operating
hours or every 14 days (even if cooking
is not in progress).
Remote control (14)
ON / OFF
To switch on, press the field with the
*
ON / OFF symbol. The fan starts at
power level 3. To switch off, press the
ON / OFF symbol again.
Increase fan power
Press the Increase fan power icon. The
fan power increases by one power level
each time the button is pressed.
Reduce fan power
Press the Reduce fan power icon. The
fan power decreases by one power level
up to power level 1 with each press.
Illumination
Press the button with the light icon to
turn on the light. Press the button again
to turn off the backlight. If the lighting
symbol is held down for a longer time,
the lighting is dimmed. (LED lighting not
dimmable)
Intensive level
The maximum fan output is reached by
pressing the Intensive level button. The
fan power switches back by one power
level after 5 minutes.
Automatic follow-up time
Touching the field with the follow-up
time symbol (2nd symbol from left) acti-
vates the automatic follow-up time, the
follow-up time symbol lights up. The
cooker hood switches back from level 3
to level 1 and continues to run there for
~15 minutes before switching off.
Grease filter cleaning display
If the grease filter indicator lights up, the
filter must be cleaned. After cleaning the
filter, hold down the right button on the
control panel for ~10sec. or use the re-
mote control until the indicator light goes
out. ( see figure at the top )
