7. CHANGE FILTER

Remove filter
Fire hazard! Greasy residues impair the
performance of the cooker hood and
increase the risk of fire. To prevent a fire
hazard, these metal filters must be
cleaned regularly. The grease filters
must be cleaned every 14 days at the
latest. To do this, grasp the grease filter
on the grip strip at the edge of the metal
filter and pull it downwards until the mag-
netic contact is released. Then loosen
the karabiner hooks of the safety chain
and remove the metal filter downwards.
Important: Before cleaning the filter in
the dishwasher, the metal filter must be
separated from the activated carbon fil-
ter.
To do this, pull the activated carbon filter
out of the side of the receptacle. The
metal filter can now be cleaned in the
dishwasher. After cleaning, connect the
fresh activated carbon filter to the metal
filter, then attach the safety chain and
insert the filter into the hood. Carry out
filter reset.

The activated carbon filters used in
this type of hood are disposable acti-
vated carbon filters that cannot be
cleaned or reused.
