3. GENERAL FUNCTIONAL DESCRIPTION

How the cooker hood works:

GEMELAS is another innovation in the long series of design and technology ideas from
Gutmann.
The extractor hood has been specially developed for extracting cooking fumes in pri-
vate households.
The extractor hood has been designed for installation in wall units. Thanks to its space-
saving design, this model creates a storage space-creating concept of up to 65 percent
in the wall units.
The suction of the hood combined with ingenious twin motor technology and flow-
oriented filter technology creates a very effective extraction system that flows into the
hood. Due to their thermal properties, vapours rise upwards, are captured by the strong
suction and extracted by the hood.
The metal grease filters are held in the hood body by magnets. Thanks to the innovati-
ve grip bar, these hood models are easily accessible from below and without tools. In
the circulating air version, the cooker hood is equipped with highly efficient activated
carbon filters.
The extraction performance is controlled by a seven-point control panel. In addition to
the lighting, which is discreetly recessed, additional functions are also controlled. The
illumination of the cooking surface is provided by modern and powerful LED light strips
which are dimmable.
