REMOVING THE BIOCLIP MIXER BODY OR BIOCLIP SPOUT
> BIOCLIP mixer ²-A:
To remove the mixer body from its base, shut-off the water supply at the inlets (stopcocks supplied)
then unscrew the grub screw situated on the side of the mixer, without removing it completely, using
a 3mm Allen key
To replace, slot the body vertically in place on the base and tighten the screw again. Open the stop
cocks to reconnect the water supply. Mixer is supplied with a cover for the base to protect from dirt
and impurities prior to mounting the mixer body.
> BIOCLIP spouts ²-B:
For UK market mixer supplied with 2 brass spouts L.156. Alternative options include: 2 brass spouts
L.75mm (ref.20003), 15 disposable spouts (ref.20015) or 10 spout filters (ref.20040 or 30040).
• Brass spouts and spout filters: To remove the spout, turn it clockwise through 90°
towards you
.
To replace the spout, reverse the procedure.
• Disposable spouts: To remove the spout, pull it towards you.
To replace the spout, simply insert it into the slot.
MAINTENANCE
• Check the operation of the pressure balancing cartridge at least once a year, and more frequently
if necessary. In case of malfunction, replace the cartridge.
CLEANING & SERVICING
• Cleaning chrome:
Do not use abrasive, chlorine or any other acid-based cleaning products.
Clean with soapy water using a cloth or a sponge.
• Frost protection: Drain the pipes and operate the mixer several times to drain any remaining water.
REMEMBER:
• Our mixers must be installed by professional installers in accordance with current regulations
and recommendations in your country, and the recommendations of the fluid engineer.
• Sizing the pipes correctly will avoid problems of water hammer and loss of pressure/flow rate.

• Protect the installation with filters, water-hammer absorbers and pressure reducers to reduce
the frequency of maintenance.
• Install stopcocks close to the mixer to facilitate maintenance.
• The pipework, stopcocks, mixers and all sanitary ware must be checked regularly, at least once a year.
