Note:
- The appliance is fitted with an automatic steam shot which constantly releases
steam when closed. The steaming produces longer lasting waves and enhancing
elasticity. When the water reservoir is empty, disconnect the appliance from the
mains, allow the straightening plates to cool down a bit and top up with water.
- Hold the appliance in closed position according to hair type (thin hair 5 seconds,
normal to thick hair up to 8 seconds). To release the hair from the appliance, open
the plates so that the strands slide out easily and smoothly.
- The crimping process must be repeated. Place the outermost ridge of waved hair in
the first ridge of the crimping plate. Close the appliance and hold in position for a few
seconds. Repeat the process until you achieve the desired look. With little effort you
can achieve a unique hair styling results.
Ion generator (model VZ 1130)
Your appliance is fitted with an ion generator. Activating this function will gave your hair
enhanced shine while styling. The ion generator also prevents the build-up of static
charge on your hair.
To activate the function, turn the ion on/off switch
light should light up.

CLEANING AND CARE

- Switch off the unit before it is to be cleaned and pull out the plug!
- It is essential to let the unit completely cool down.
- Never immerse the appliance in water.
Do not use sharp or abrasive cleaning agents.
- You can clean your appliance with a slightly damp cloth and dry it with a soft dry
cloth.
- If the straightening/crimping plates get dirty, use a few drops of washing-up liquid to
help clean them. Make sure that you remove all washing-up liquid residues from the
straightening/crimping plates.
- Deposits of limescale can be removed from the steam outlet jets with a soft brush.
