Filling the reservoir with water (model VZ 1120, VZ 1130)
If you are using the steam function, the appliance must be filled with water before
switching on.
Warning!
Risk of electric shock.
Never fill the appliance with water when plugged.
Remove the water reservoir placed on the top of the appliance.

- The appliance should be held pointing its upper part downwards.
- Remove the water reservoir by turning it anti-clockwise and pull it out (see fig. 1).
- Turn the wick holder approx. ¼ turn anti-clockwise and take it out (model 1130).
- Fill the reservoir with clean, cold tap water. The max. fill volume is 7 ml.
- Note
Only use tap water without additives or fragrances.
- Close the water reservoir by replacing the wick holder and turning it approx. ¼ turn
clockwise (model VZ 1130).
- Reinsert the water reservoir. The appliance should be held pointing downwards.
Preparing the hair
- Wash your hair and dry it well.
- Comb your hair thoroughly. Do not use hairspray or other chemical hair care
products.
- Place a hand towel around your neck to prevent the possibility of skin burns.
Inserting plate sets (model VZ 1130, VZ 1120)
Two sets of heated metal plates with hardened ceramic surface are included with your
appliance.
1 x set of straightening plates
1 x set of crimping plates
To exchange the sets of plates, press the two release points and pull them pointing to
the front.
Fitting the new sets of plates is done in reverse sequence.
