This operating manual is intended for
- skilled electricians and
- electrotechnically trained personnel.
The BENNING CM E1 is intended for measurements under dry ambient conditions. It must not be used
in electrical circuits with a nominal voltage higher then CAT III 300 V (see section 6 „Ambient conditions"
for details).
The following symbols are used in this operating manual and on the BENNING CM E1:
Application around and removal from HAZARDOUS LIVE conductors is permitted.

