1-piece collecting pouch for ostomates either:
- Closed, with an integrated filter for deodorization and
evacuation of gases.
- Drainable, with a large evacuation sleeve (70 mm)
allowing the evacuation of even thick effluents and a
soft clamp.
- For urostomy, with drainage tap (H-I)*
1. Before application
Measure the diameter of your stoma.
Cut the skin protector from the starter hole so it fits
around your stoma. Leave a small gap around your
stoma: it should not be "occluded" by the skin protector
(A).
Skin preparation:
- Clean the skin around your stoma with tepid water.
Avoid ether, alcohol or other antiseptic which can
prevent good adhesion of the protector.
- Dab the skin carefully with soft tissues.
2. Fitting the pouch
Separate the inner surfaces of the pouch walls (B).
Peel the protective paper from the skin protector and
position the bottom of the flange opening around the
base of the stoma (C).
Press the bottom part of the skin protector smoothly
onto the skin, then place and press onto the upper part
taking care not to make folds. Smooth the entire surface
of the skin protector, working from bottom to top, to
ensure perfect adhesion (D).

3. Removal of the pouch
Pull slightly on the removal tab and remove the pouch
from the top to the bottom, whilst maintaining gentle
pressure on the skin around the stoma with your other
hand.
4. Drainable pouches
Take care that your pouch is closed before applying it.
To that end, use the clamp provided in the box to close
the bag (E-F-G).
If you prefer, use a rigid clamp (to be ordered separately:
ref. F00727).
When you want to empty the pouch, remove the clamp
and direct the open end of the pouch over the toilet.
Wipe the end of the pouch with a tissue after it has
been emptied and reapply the clamp.
5. Urostomy pouches
Handling the drainage tap:
Point the drainage system towards the toilet bowl,
slowly turn the cap anti-clockwise until the desired flow
rate is obtained (H).
To close the cap once the pouch has been emptied, turn
clockwise until it has returned to its original position (I).
National regulations for the destruction of potentially
infectious materials must be observed.
