• Replace the battery when the display contrast drops significantly or if you are unable to
switch on the device. The battery status indicator symbol (M) will flash when the battery
is weak.
b) Operating with a power adapter
• If you would like to operate the meter with a power adapter, refer to the information in the
"Technical data" section.
• Read the power adapter operating instructions and safety information carefully.
• Insert the connector of a suitable power adapter into the low-voltage connection (11) on
the meter.
• You can also power the meter with a power adapter when the battery is inserted.

c) Optional redox probe

The redox probe is not included with the product. If you wish to take measurements with a redox
probe, purchase the redox probe using Conrad item no. 2158653. Soaking solution is required
in order to ensure that the probe remains functional.
Measurement probes are consumable parts with a limited lifespan. For this reason,
measurement probes are not covered by the warranty/guarantee.
d) Button functions

1. Press this button to freeze a measured value on the LCD display.
2. Press and hold this button for approx. 3 seconds to switch to the min/
max display.
3. Briefly press this button to switch between the minimum and maximum
values.
