• Connect the temperature sensor to the temperature sensor input (12).
• Insert the temperature sensor and the second measuring probe into the clip for the electrode
and temperature sensor. This ensures that both probes are kept at an equal, fixed distance.
• When no temperature sensor is connected, the symbol "MTC" (manual temperature com-
pensation) will be displayed on the LC-display.
Prepare the pH electrode and the conductivity cell and possibly the redox probe as follows:
• First unscrew the soaking bottle and set
it aside. Be careful not to spill anything
from the storage solution.
• Remove the sleeve from the probe
shaft.
• Rinse the electrode with clean distilled
water and dab dry with a non-abrasive,
lint-free cloth.

g) Calibration

pH measurements

The calibration solutions (pH 4, 7, and possibly 10) are required to calibrate the product.
1. Make sure that the pH measurement probe is connected to the pH/ORP electrode input (14).
If you want to use the automatic temperature compensation function (ATC), the temperature
sensor must be connected to its input socket (12).
2. Remove the soaking bottle from the measurement probe. Press the

3. Press the

4. Prepare the pH 7 calibration solution.
5. Use the probe tip to stir the solution for a few seconds, and then wait without stirring until a
stable value is displayed on the LCD display (8).
6. To start the calibration process, press and hold the
until the calibration symbol "CAL" appears on the LCD display (6). The pH value 7.00 will
start to flash on the LCD display. The display will stop flashing and show "SA" followed
by "End". The calibration process is now complete. The meter will automatically revert to
measuring mode.
7. Rinse the measurement probe with clean, distilled water and wipe it dry.
