Window mask
See Figure 8.
The mask is supplied loose into the housing and can be fitted
to the inside of the window as shown and is used to mask
objects which are in the presence or close to (within 1.5 m) and
directly under the detector.
This disables the part of the curtains looking at the object,
whose closeness might otherwise destabilize the detector.
Remove this mask to create undercrawl detection.

Ausrichten des melders
Siehe Abb. 4.
Richten Sie den Melder so aus, daß die erwartete Bewegung
einer eindringenden Person quer zum Erfassungsbereich des
Melders erfolgt. In dieser Ausrichtung erfolgt die optimale PIR-
Erfassung.
Vermeiden Sie mögliche Quellen für Fehlalarmauslösungen,
wie:
•
Direkte Sonnenlichteinstrahlung auf den Melder
• Wärmequellen (Heizungskörper, offenes Feuer usw.)
innerhalb des Erfassungsbereichs des Melders
• Starke Luftumwälzungen in unmittelbarer Nähe des
Melders (Gebläse, Ventilatoren, Klimaanlagen usw.)
• Größere Tiere (wie Hunde und Katzen), die sich in dem
Erfassungsbereich bewegen
•
Verdecken des Erfassungsbereichs des Melders durch
große Objekte, z. B Möbel
UTC Fire & Security empfiehlt einen regelmäßigen Gehtest mit
diesem Melder und dessen Anschaltung an die Alarmzentrale
regelmäßig zu überprüfen.
Montage anleitung
1. Entfernen Sie die Abdeckung (Position 1) wie abgebildet
in Position A oder B. Üben Sie auf die Abdeckung einen
Druck (Position C) oder Drehung (Position E) aus während
des Schieben (Position D).
Öffnen Sie das Gehäuse (Position 2 und 3).

Brechen Sie die erforderlichen Kabeleinführungen auf
