Please check that the details given in the Certificate of Quality match the
sensor label. For each sensor, the relevant cell constant has been determined
individually in solutions of known conductivity at 18–25 °C (64–77 °F)
during the manufacturing process, and the value documented in the ac-
companying «Certificate of Quality».
4-electrode sensors are so-called diffuse-field sensors. The individually
determined cell constant was established under laboratory conditions with-
out external influences.
Depending on the installation configuration, external influences (e.g. from
the pipe) can result in a shift in cell constant. If the application does
not guarantee a minimum clearance of 30 mm (1.18") around the sensor,
it is recommended to carry out recalibration of the sensor in installed
position.
Packaging
The packaging consists of cardboard and plastic material.
Keep the packaging for later use during storage or for transportation of the
sensor. Should you wish to dispose of the packaging material, please ob-
serve your local regulations as well as those data and instructions given in
Chapter 5.3 of this manual.
Unpacking and inspection
Please check the sensors immediately during unpacking in order to deter-
mine possible damage or missing items. Any irregularities should imme-
diately be reportet to your carrier and to your supplier.
Each InPro 7100-VP Series sensor is equipped with an integral tempera-
ture probe Pt1000, IEC 751 Class A.
The nominal cell constant is 0.25 cm
sensor label. For each sensor, the cell constant and temperature constant
have been measured/established individually and the values have been
documented in the accompanying Quality Certificate. All calibrations can
be traced back to NIST and/or ASTM Standards.
Both the measuring range and the system measurement accuracy strongly
depend upon which type of transmitter is employed.
