Care and cleaning
• Allow the filter to dry thoroughly and
carefully replace it in the extractor
hood.
• When refitting the filters, make sure
that the handle is visible on the
outside.

• When cleaning metal grease filters
take care not to bend them or to
damage the mesh.
• Avoid using alkaline dishwasher
cleaning agents (ph value over 7).
• Frequent cleaning or the use of
aggressive cleaning agents can
cause color changes of the metal
surface. These have no influence
on the filter function and are not a
reason for complaint.
6.3 Replacing / Mounting the
carbon filter
Original carbon filter
for this model: K606
(not included in delivery)
• The filter is not washable and can-
not be regenerated.
It must be replaced approximately
every 9-12 months of operation,
or more frequently for particularly
heavy usage.
• Remove the metal grease filters.
• Remove any existing carbon filters
from the motor by turning them
(usually counter-clockwise).
• Screw the carbon filter in two parts
to the right and left of the motor
(usually clockwise). To do this, check
that the teeth correspond to the
direction of rotation of each side.
• Refit the metal grease filters.

6.4 Changing the lamp

• The LED lighting may only be
repaired or replaced by qualified
personnel.
• For this purpose, the appliance
must be disconnected from the
power supply.
• When changing a lamp, make
sure that the new lamp does not
have a higher wattage than of the
original.
• Before connecting the hood, make
sure that the voltage indicated on
the rating plate (V) corresponds to
the supply voltage in your home.
