Installation

3.2 Fitting the hood canopy

• Raise the hood canopy until the
upper edge reaches the height of
the hood canopy holder (11.1).
• Insert the metal hooks of holder
(11.1) into the long cut-outs at the
rear top edge of the hood canopy
and hook them in.
• Slowly lower the hood canopy and
hang it on the wall.

3.3 Connections

Recirculation version
(with air outlet back into the room)
Ensure that the activated carbon filter
has been inserted.
(For mounting the carbon filter, please
see section 6.3).
Ducted version / exhaust air system
(with air extraction to the outside)
• When installing the ducted version,
connect the hood to the chimney
using either a flexible or rigid pipe
ø 150 or 120 mm, the choice of
which is left to the installer.
Please refer to the chapter
„Information on air flow".
• To install a ø 120 mm air exhaust
connection, insert the reducer flan-
ge (3, optional) on the hood body
outlet.
• Fix the pipe in position using suffici-
ent pipe clamps (not supplied).
• Remove any carbon filters that may
be present. These are only practi-
cable for use with the recirculation
version of the hood.
