Personal protective equipment is used to protect persons from their
safety and health being put at risk during work.
During the different tasks, staff must wear personal protective
equipment which is indicated separately in the individual sections
of this manual.
The personal protective equipment is described below:
Protective clothing
Protective clothing is close-fitting work clothing with a low tear
resistance and close-fitting sleeves, and without protruding parts.
Safety shoes
Safety shoes protect the feet from crushing, falling parts and skid-
ding on slippery substrate.
WARNING!
Danger in the event of illegible tags!
Over time, stickers and signs can become dirty or oth-
erwise illegible, so hazards might not be recognised
and necessary operating information cannot be fol-
lowed. This harbours a risk of injury.
– Keep all safety information, warnings and oper-
ating instructions in a clearly legible state at all
times.
– Replace damaged signs or stickers immediately.
