Intended use

The different models of the SQlab Innerbarends® are designed according to their characteristics for the different fields of application
trekking, touring and MTB riding. They have been tested in numerous laboratory and field trials. The use of an unsuitable Innerbarend®
can under certain circumstances lead to riding errors, falls and accidents.
When describing the intended use, we follow the international categorization ASTM F204313, which precisely describes the different
areas of application.

Warning
Each component has its load limit, which can be exceeded in extreme manoeuvres. If the Innerbarends are overloaded, this may cause
failure or breakage. Please note the following:
• Never exceed the permissible system and rider weight.
• Only use your SQlab Innerbarends® within the specified ASTM application category or a lower application category (according to ASTM
F204313).
• Do an extraordinary inspection after situations with particularly or unexpectedly large force effects, such as after a crash, riding errors or
an accident. In case of doubt, the possibly damaged component should be replaced prophylactically. In such a case, you should play it
safe and ask your SQlab dealer for advice.
• For the protection of third parties, a component that is not immediately and obviously recognisable as defective should be clearly mar
ked as unusable.
