1. Fill the kettle up to the MAX marking with
water.
2. Switch on the appliance by using the red I/O
button below the handle. In this function the
water is boiled up and then kept warm. this
means that as soon as the temperafure of the
water falls below approx. 75oC, it is boiled up
agarn,
ATTENTION
In the samovar function, the appliance
is not switched off automatically!

To get 0.5 litres of tea concentrate fill about 8-10
teaspoon of tea leafs into the filter (approx. 1/3 of
the height. Place the filter into the tea pot,
Pour boiling water on the tea and place the tea
pot on top of the kettle. Let the tea stand for a
while.
Tea may become bitter after a long time of
standing.
The concentrate may be filled up two to three
times.

We recommend to use as soft water as available, if necessary we recommend a water filter.

During the boiling period, the red control light
in the base is lighting. When the boiling point
is reached, this lamps turns out.

During the keep-warm period, the integrated
control light in the I/O switch is lighting. As
soon as the boiling process starb again, this
lamps turns out and the lamp in the base
turns on. so you can see at any moment, in
which phase the samovar is actually.
Fill the desired amount of tea into the filter
(approx. 1/3 of the filter height) and place
the filter in the tea pot. Do not take more
tea, as this wouid affect the taste.
Now add hot water and let the tea stand. You
will receive a strongly concentrated tea.
Fill the kettle again and place it on the base.
Due to the samovar function the water will be
brought to the boil and kept warm as
described above,
Place the tea pot instead of the lid on top of
the kettle. The rising steam will keep the tea
concentrate inside at a temperature of
approx. 70oC.
For drinking, pour a little bit tea concentrate
into a cup and add as much hot water as you
want. So you can individually determine the
intensity of your tea.
10. Then put the kettle and the tea pot back onto
the base. The samovar function is continued.
11. Do not forget to switch off the appliance at
the end of your tea ceremony.

Fill tea leafs into the filter up to approx. 1/3 of the

Green (unfermented) tea is not prepared with
boiling water, but with warm water with approx.
70-80"C. After the water has boiled for the first
time, just wait until the appliance is switching
from keeping warm to reboiling before pouring
the water onto the tea,
Place the tea pot on top of the kettle. Let the tea
stand for a while.
