Perform cleaning and maintenance right after

tion. L ubri c ate mo v ing parts to pre v ent rusting an d
minimi z e f ri c tion-relate d w ear. W ipe o f f all d ust
f rom t h e parts.

Ask Makita authorized service center for peri-
odical inspection of the tool.

To maintain product SAFETY and RELIABILITY,
maintenance and repairs should be performed
by Makita Authorized Service Centers, always
using Makita replacement parts.

o f 0. 6 6 M P a ( 6 . 6 bar ) , a c ompressor w it h an air output

P ressure regulators must be use d to limit air pressure to
t h e rate d pressure o f t h e tool w h ere air suppl y pressure
e x c ee d s t h e tool ' s rate d pressure. F ailure to d o so ma y
result in serious in j ur y to tool operator or persons in t h e
v i c init y .
Selecting air hose
CAUTION:
Low air output of the compressor,
or a long or smaller diameter air hose in relation
to the nailing frequency may cause a decrease in
the driving capability of the tool.

Lubrication

T o insure ma x imum per f orman c e, install an air set ( oiler,
regulator, air filter) as close as possible to the tool.
A d j ust t h e oiler so t h at one d rop o f oil w ill be pro v i d e d
f or e v er y 30 nails.
W h en an air set is not use d , oil t h e tool w it h pneumati c
tool oil b y pla c ing 2 ( t w o ) or 3 ( t h ree ) d rops into t h e air
fitting. This should be done before and after use.
For proper lubrication, the tool must be fired a couple of
times a f ter pneumati c tool oil is intro d u c e d .
