Preparing for use

Installation

Install the product in accordance with figures A - D.
Make sure that the assembled product is inserted far enough into the ground
(lawn, flower bed) for it to be stable.
Make sure you keep proper footing and balance at all times. Do not use any
force when assembling or setting-up the product, e.g. hammer blows. This will
damage the product.
The buzzer in the product sends out sound waves for 5 seconds every
20 seconds.

Charging the rechargeable batteries

The solar panel installed in the product converts sunlight into electrical energy
and stores it in 2 NiMH batteries.
The charging time of the rechargeable batteries when the solar cell is used

depends on the intensity of the sunlight and the angle of incidence of the light
on the solar cell . In order to achieve the best result, set the product up in a
2
place where the solar cell will get direct sunlight for as long as possible. Place
the solar cell as perpendicular as possible to the angle of incidence of the
2
light.
