2. SAfETY NOTICES
• Obtain spare parts only from the manufacturer.
• Changes to the equipment will result in the termination of any
liability by the manufacturer.
• Clean the product only with a dry cloth.
• In case of operating problems, disconnect the radio from the
power supply.
• Remove the protective foil.
• Note on disconnecting from the power supply.
• The product will draw some power when in standby mode. To dis-
connect the product completely from the power supply, the mains
adapter must be disconnected from the power outlet (pulled out).
• Correct location
• Place the product on a firm, even surface.
• Avoid proximity to:
- Sources of heat, e.g. radiators,
- Open flames, e.g. candles
- do not place any containers with liquid (e.g. vases) on top of the
product.
• Avoid direct sunshine as well as exceptionally dusty places.
• do not place any heavy objects on top of the product.
• When moving the radio from a cold to a warm environment, hu-
midity may condense inside the equipment. In this case, wait for
about an hour before switching on again.
• Place connection cables in such a manner that nobody will step
on them or stumble over them.
