6.2 Switching on and off

Irrespective of the battery's charging status, the device can be
used at any time in mains operation.
1. In order to use the power pack, ensure that the device is
switched off.
2. Connect the plug-in power unit 17 to the socket 11 on the
device.
3. Insert the plug-in power unit 17 into an easily accessible
wall socket, the voltage of which corresponds to the rating
plate.
4. Remove the protective lid 14 before switching on.
5. To switch on the device, push the on/off switch 6.

... the charging state is shown,
... the cleaning symbol 12, the plug symbol 9 and the lock
symbol 10 appear briefly on the display.
7. To switch off the device, push the on/off switch 6 again.

6.3 Transport lock

If the transport lock is activated, a lock symbol flashes 10.
• Press and hold the on/off switch 6 for approx. 4 seconds, in
order to switch the transport lock on/off.
• Connecting the plug-in power unit 17 deactivates the trans-
port lock, which cannot be activated during mains opera-
tion.
