Pressure differences
The pressures of the cold and hot water
connections must be balanced.
Operation
The mixer is activated by lifting the lever handle.
Turning to the left = warmer water,
turning to the right = cooler water.
Temperature limitation
The temperature is limited by the safety check to
38 C (100 F). If a higher temperature is
required, it is possible to override the safety stop
by depressing the safety button.

Correction is necessary if the temperature
measured at the take off point differs from the
temperature set on the scale. To adjust
temperature proceed as follows: Turn the setting
knob until water at a temperature of 38 C comes
out of the outlet. Loosen screw of setting knob.
Remove setting knob and turn to the 38 C
position. Attach setting knob again and tighten
the screw (please see page 22).

The desired maximum temperature for example
max. 42 C can be pre-set thanks to the safety

Flow heater
Applicable for flow heaters at min. 24 kW and
0,15 MPa flow pressure before the Shower panel
and a minimum through flow of 7 l/minute. Only
one consumer possible, not two simultaneously.
Maintenance
The non return valves must be checked regularly
according to DIN EN 1717 in accordance with
national or regional regulations (at least once a
year).
At this time, please also check the filter (6.1)
situated on the MTC-ther-moelement (6). After
assembling the MTC-thermo-element, it is
necessary to check the water temperature at the
take off point as described under the headline
„adjustment". Before the adjustment, please
check, if the warm water supply is activated and
the maximum temperature of the warm water is
available at the take off point.
To guarantee the smooth running of the
thermostat, it is necessary from time to time to
turn the thermostat from total hot to total cold.
