Installation
Note: Familiarise yourself with the tap before
installation by carefully reading these installation
and operating instructions, particularly the safety
instructions.
If incorrectly installed, the warranty will become
invalid – particularly with regard to consequential
damages.
■
CAUTION! Turn off the hot and cold water
supply before starting the installation.
CAUTION! Do not twist or apply tension to
■
the connection hoses (see Fig. A).
CAUTION! Only finger-tighten the connec-
■
tion hoses. Do not use pliers or a spanner as
this may damage the connection hoses (see
Fig. A).
Note: You will need a flat-head screwdriver
and a 10 mm open-ended spanner for the
installation.

Installing the tap
□
Screw the two connection hoses
female threads provided in the tap body
until finger-tight. Do not use any tools to screw
the connection hoses into the tap.
□
Feed the base ring
es to the tap. Make sure that the built-in silicone
seal is correctly and fully seated in the groove
of the base ring.

Remove the two fixing nuts from the threaded
bars
.

Screw the two threaded bars into the female
threads provided in the tap body using a flat-
head screwdriver. The threaded bars must be
screwed into the tap up to the marking.
□
Place the tap centrally over the mounting hole
on the washbasin so that the connection hoses
and threaded bars go through the mounting
hole.
□
Feed the C-type sealing washer
threaded bars from below.
□
Feed the C-type metal washer
threaded bars from below.

□
Screw the previously removed fixing nuts onto
the threaded bars and secure the nuts using a
pipe wrench. Make sure that the connection
hoses are straight and not pinched.

Screw the connection hoses onto the angled
valves at your wall connection point.

Unscrew the eccentric nut

Slip the wide sealing ring onto the shorter part
of the eccentric rod and push it onto the ball.
The edge of the wide sealing ring must be
positioned at the centre of the ball.

Remove the protective plastic cap.
□
Tentatively insert the shorter part of the
eccentric rod through the threaded flange
and into the opening at the bottom end of the
adjusting screw
.

Check the adjusting screw setting: When the
longer part of the eccentric rod is pressed
down, the drain stopper
enough from the upper part
fitting that it creates the desired outlet opening
(see Fig. B).
□
Remove the eccentric rod from the threaded
flange again and unscrew the adjusting screw
on the underside of the drain stopper a little
if necessary to increase the size of the drain
opening. Be careful not to unscrew the adjusting
screw to a point that it is no longer securely
fastened to the drain stopper.
□
Secure the adjusting screw then by screwing
the locknut
to the drain stopper as far as it

will go.
