8. Network configuration

TTM 2104/2204 works with static IP addresses. Networks
frequently work with dynamic IP addresses.

Dynamic IP addresses are assigned by the router/
server each time the system starts. Static IP
addresses are assigned once and then always remain
the same.
8.1 Finding duplicate IP addresses
1. Connect service PC/laptop to the network.
2. Disconnect TTM 2104/2204 from the network.
3. Open Entry prompt and enter
IP address" -t
.
 If a response is received, this IP address is al-
ready assigned in the network. Repeat item 3
with another IP address until there is no re-
sponse.
4. Note IP address for configuration.

Master and satellite each need a different IP
address.

Checking an IP address (IP Scanner)

1. Connect service PC/laptop to the network.
2. Start the Advanced IP Scanner tool.
3. Select Scan button.

To simplify identification, all MAC addresses of
TTM 2104/2204 modules begin with 00061F.
Remedy / action
R Delete the master entry in the network
configuration of the satellite.
R Correct the satellite entry.
R Restart module.
R Set master entry (do not change satellite entry!).
R Restart TTM 2104/2204.
R Find with Advanced IP Scanner.
R Find by pinging.
R Reset IP address of module (see initial
commissioning of 1 691 206 002)
The MAC addresses of all modules begin with
00061F.
Observe format of IP addresses
10.10.33.6
