b) Removing the Solar Wings

You can remove the solar wings for indoor use. With solar wings removed the camera
will not be weatherproofed.
Using the included screwdriver, remove both panel screws (6).

• Gently spread the solar wings apart where shown below, then slide off.
Replace the panel screws (6) and keep the solar wings in a safe location for future use.

c) Mounting

The device can be mounted to a wall or ceiling. If mounted upside down, you will need
to "flip screen" using the "Smart Life" app "Settings".
Check that the provided screws are appropriate for the surface material. If in doubt
consult a professional.
Consider the camera and motion detection angles when choosing a location. Test this
before drilling holes and mounting.
• Use the holes on the mounting plate as a template to mark where to drill.
• If needed, insert the plastic dowels using a mallet.
• Fix the mount to the wall using the supplied screws.
• Screw the device onto the mount, making sure the rubber gasket forms a good seal around
the mounting point.
Make sure the device is securely attached to the mounting bracket (8) before letting go.
