Intended Use

This colour camera set is intended for installation in, monitoring and protecting, se-

The camera features a double front glass structure to prevent refl ections and diffusion
of the IR light from the IR LEDs.
The camera is suitable for use in outdoor areas (IP68).
The voltage is supplied via 12 V/DC (a suitable power transformer is available as an
option).
The inbuilt IR LEDs enable coverage of up to a max. of 20 metres.
The camera's integrated infrared LEDs allow night vision. Please note that coloured
image reproduction changes into black and white monochrome when increasing dark-
ness activates the IR-LEDs. The brightness is detected by the camera using a photo
sensor on the front.
Please bear in mind that it is prohibited by law to observe strangers with a camera
without their knowledge and consent.

Installation

The connection cables must not be kinked or squeezed. This can result in mal-
functions, short circuits and defects in the device.
Make sure that cables or wires are not damaged when drilling or bolting in
place.
Please note, you should choose a position for your camera that it is not ex-
posed to direct sunlight (this can cause glare). Further, the camera must be
protected from dust and vibration.
The camera's integrated infrared LEDs allow night vision. Please note that
coloured image reproduction changes into black and white monochrome
when increasing darkness activates the IR-LEDs. The brightness is detected
by the camera using a photo sensor on the front.
• Find a suitable location for installing the camera.
Ensure that the plug and socket on the camera's
connection cable are not exposed to damp. Plugs
and sockets may only be used indoors. The cam-
era cable must (for installation in outdoor areas
or in damp rooms) be placed so it is led into a dry
room.
• There are 3 mounting holes in the mounting base.
Hold the mounting base against the desired mount-
ing spot and mark the fi xing holes.
• Drill the holes.
• Fasten the mounting base into place using appro-
priate installation material.
• Screw the mounting base onto the camera and
tighten the knurled locking screws.
• Adjust the camera to the desired position. To do
this, loosen the knurled locking screw and after ad-
justing the camera as required, tighten it again to
secure it in position.
• Attach the sun/rain protection on the camera's casing.
