b) Battery
• The rechargeable battery is permanently built into the product and cannot be
replaced.
• Never damage the rechargeable battery. Damaging the casing of the rechargeable
battery might cause an explosion or a fire!
• Never short-circuit the contacts of the rechargeable battery. Do not throw the
battery or the product into fire. There is a danger of fire and explosion!
• Charge the rechargeable battery regularly, even if you do are not using the
product. Due to the rechargeable battery technology being used, you do not need
to discharge the rechargeable battery first.
• Never charge the rechargeable battery of the product unattended.
• When charging, place the product on a surface that is not heat-sensitive. It is
normal that a certain amount of heat is generated during charging.
c) Ingress Protection
• The device is weatherproofed with an IP66 rating. It is protected from dust ingress,
and high power water jets from any direction.
• To maintain the ingress protection rating:
- Do not use the camera outdoors while tethered to the USB cable.
- Do not use outdoors when the "solar wings" have been removed.
- Make sure the compartment cover is properly sealed.
- Make sure the rubber bushing around the bracket mounting point forms a good
seal when screwed into the camera.
d) Child Safety
• If using the device as a baby monitor, choose a location for the device that will
provide the best view of your baby in the crib.
• Choking hazard: Keep the USB cable out of the reach of children.
e) Mounting
• Before drilling, check for concealed wires or pipes beneath the surface that could
be damaged or cause harm.
