Installing the IK 300 as a free-standing
appliance
Aligning the IK 300
Use the adjustable screw-in feet and a spirit level
to align the appliance.
All of the appliance's screw-in feet must stand
firmly on the floor. The refrigerator must not
wobble.
The lock nuts for all four feet must be tightened
securely against the housing.
An improperly aligned appliance can give rise
to high noise levels and vibrations!
A split wall fixing (Fig. 23) is required for free-
standing appliances.
The required conversion kit can be ordered as
an accessory by quoting No. Wb 010-090.
If there is no adjacent kitchen furniture, you can
now fit the side walls to the IK 300-254.
Screw the two brackets 10 onto the left and right-
hand side walls.
Then use the brackets to secure the side walls in
the threads provided on the top of the IK 300, as
illustrated in Fig. 22.
Additionally secure the side walls with a screw
through the hinges.
If using side walls, the applied door widths
(see fig. 15) need a decor panel with a maximum
thickness of 16 mm, so that the decor panels
won't overlap with the side walls.
Now attach the other two enclosed brackets 11 to
the wall (Fig. 23).
The required threads can be found on the rear of
the IK 300 at the top. Screw in the brackets at the
designated points on the appliance.
The unit must be secured to the wall.
Having secured the IK 300, you can now remove
the stabiliser 6 and put it back in the middle
base section, as shown in Fig. 4.
Warning:
The screws for attaching the side parts and the
wall fixing must be screwed in at the designated
points only, otherwise the appliance could be
damaged.
