Connecting to the water supply
Before any work on the water supply
and return lines, disconnect the IK 300
from the power source.
The refrigerator requires both a fresh water
supply and a drainage system.
The water supply and drain line is permanently
installed on the refrigerator.
Danger of electric shock
– Do not immerse the Aqua Stop safety device in
water (contains electric valve).
– It is imperative that you observe all infor-
mation. Failure to do so can cause leaks and
water damage.
Caution!
When connecting the water lines note that:
– the large hose with Aqua Stop is the water
SUPPLY line and
– the small hose is the water RETURN line.
Do not kink, flatten, cut, or modify either the
water supply line with Aqua Stop or the water
return line, otherwise strength and function can
no longer be ensured. Before transport, the
water lines are secured to the rear wall of the
refrigerator.
Detach the water lines from the three hose clips
(8, Fig. 10). The hose clips can remain on the
appliance.
Loosen the fixing screws to detach the small
cover plate (9, Fig. 11) from the hose's outlet.
In the delivered state the two lines are installed
for connection to the water supply on the right
side as seen from the front of the appliance
(see Fig. 10).
