solutions are the basis of our ROTWILD frames. Weight optimisation, rigidity and
durability are at the focus of all our present and future developments, developments
aligned with the requirements of the totally different terrains in which ROTWILD bikes
are ridden. For this reason, the model range currently covers mountain bikes for
cross-country, cross-country racing and marathon riding up to freecross and freerid-
ing. We also match our racing bikes to the demands on modern racing equipment
with the same philosophy of passion and dedication with which our mountain bikes
are constructed. Frame weight, stability and power transmission are the focal points
for optimisation in our continuous development process.
DEVELOPMENT
Our own research and development processes
are the foundation of our product
development. On the basis of complex
operational analyses and test-lab results, we
approach the physical limitations of our
construction materials. Through the use of
specially developed manufacturing processes,
we have the ability to produce highly complex
tube shapes for our frames, with an optimum weight to rigidity ratio. The complete
development process for ROTWILD frames is carried out in Dietzenbach (close to

BACKGROUND
When the ROTWILD brand was founded in1996, our objective
was to establish a German bike brand in the high-end segment,
and to demonstrate the quality and efficiency of German
engineering. Along with their extraordinary and unmistakeable
design, ROTWILD mountain bikes and racing bikes are
characterised by their individual technical details and extremely
