    Two kits are available, the kit required depends on the serial number of the machine it will be installed  HB378 – For installation on machines with a serial number pre-2285  HB422 – For installation on machines with serial number 2285 and onward The Common Rail Base Kit is a kit of parts designed to be fitted to the AVM2-PC Test Stand to enable testing of Common Rail equipment.

    In both modes, the AVM2 provides conditioned calibration fluid as a supply to a common rail high-pressure pump. See figure 3.2. A 2-micron filter is part of the HB378 kit and is added to the AVM2 circuit to provide a clean supply in order to protect the high-pressure pump. The filter is fitted as standard to machine serial numbers 2285 and above.

    The connection from socket EXT1 on the rear of the console to the guard switch loom can either be made by loom A069B814 (part of HB378), or via an external control box. In the latter case the necessary leads will be supplied with the control box.
