Eliminating minor
faults yourself
Before calling customer service please
check whether the following list helps you
to eliminate the fault yourself.
In advisory cases you are obliged
to assume the full costs for the fitter's
deployment, also during the warranty
period.
What to do if ...
... it is too cold in the freezer
compartment.
S Temperature has been set too low.
S You have forgotten to switch off Super
Freeze (yellow indicator lamp is lit).
Switch off Super Freeze.
... no indicator lights are lit.
Check whether:
S The appliance is switched on.
S There has been a power failure.
S The fuse for the domestic supply is
switched off.
S The mains plug of the appliance is firmly
in the socket.

... the temperature warning light (red)
is lit continuously.
It is too warm in the freezer compartment
because:
S The door has been opened frequently or
large quantities of fresh food have been
frozen.
S The temperature selector has been set
to a higher number.
S The ventilation apertures are covered.
When these faults have been repaired, the
temperature warning light goes out after
a short time. If not, call customer service.

customer service index. Please provide
customer service with the appliance
product number (E Nr.) and production
number (FD).
This information can be found
on the product label. Fig. 8
To prevent unnecessary call outs, please
assist customer service by quoting
the product and production numbers.
This will save you additional costs.
