5 Removing the Battery Interface Module
1. Disconnect the inverter from voltage sources (see inverter manual).
2. Pull the ribbon cable connecting the Power Unit to
the battery interface module out of the battery
interface module.
3. Remove all connection cables from the jacks located
on the battery interface module. Make a note of the
position of the connection cable.
4. Cut the cable ties used for fixing the battery in the battery compartment of the battery interface
module.
5. Take out the battery and keep in a safe place.
6. Unscrew (TX20) the two screws of the battery interface module.
7. Take out the battery interface module. Press the middle and side locking tabs of the
communication assembly slightly to the side until the battery interface module releases from the
locking tabs.
8. Take out the 20-pin connector connecting the battery interface module with the communication
assembly, and keep it in a safe place.
