Panel Installation
I Pull the tub away from the wall, making installation easier.
I Apply a line of silicone to the tub surface (where the panel will
rest), between the holes and the inside of the tub (
1 and 4).
I Apply silicone to the groove of the glass panel upright (detail 2),
matching the siliconed area to the one already prepared on the
tub rim (detail 2a).
I Place the panel over the tub, inserting it into the groove of the
glass panel upright (detail 3) and check that the holes match up
(detail 4); then, pass the flexible hoses and the equipotential cable
coming from the taps and fittings unit, through the holes shown
(detail 4).
I Attach the panel to the tub with the bolts and screws shown
(detail 4).
I Connect the earth cable to the equipotential terminal near the
pump and marked with the symbol
Installation of the upper sliding profile
I Place the upper sliding profile onto the glass panel and the
panel, checking that the holes of the latter match up with the ones
i
on the profile (
13).
I Then attach the profile to the panel, using the screws and bolts
shown (detail 1); place the plastic spacer to match up with the fit-
ting on the glass panel (detail 1a).
Connections and checks
Before carrying out hydraulic connections, rinse the hos-
ing of the domestic system well, in order to remove any
residues that could damage the taps and fittings.
I Place the showerhead onto the upper sliding profile as shown
i
in
14 (the showerhead must be inserted into the semi-cylindri-
cal unit on the profile) and fasten it using the screws and bolts
shown.
I Connect the mixer unit to the showerhead (
I If you have the J•Sha Active Twin model, connect the mixer
group to the "Water Fan" distributor, as shown in detail 2.
I Screw the flexible shower hose to the riser rail connection and
the flexible showerhead to the flexible hose (detail 3).
I Remove the compensator from the panel packaging as well as
the taps and fittings and apply silicone as shown in
and 1a (in other words: behind, in the groove and on the part that
will rest on the tub). Then insert the compensator into the panel
(detail 2); it is opportune to fasten it temporarily to the panel itself,
by using, for example, adhesive tape.

i
17, detail 1
I Place the structure (tub + shower area) onto the spot provided
for installation, taking careful, while doing so, with the siliconing
and attachments you have previously carried out (
For mid-wall installation, before lining the structure up
with the wall itself fasten the outer compensator at the
i
correct height (
In the final phase of lining it up with the wall, insert the
outer closure panel into the groove of the glass panel
upright and into the groove of the aforesaid (see "Installa-
tion of the outer closure panel" and
I Fasten the flexible hoses (coming from the taps and fittings) to
the ground connections (
I Assemble the drainage column (following the enclosed instruc-
tions) and connect it to the system's drain using a suitable syphon.
I At this point it is opportune to further check that the tub is
watertight (see "Tub Positioning" chapter) as the syphon is also
connected to the drain.
It will also be opportune to check that all the shower functions are
watertight, following the instructions given in the "Functions-
Shower Area" chapter. Since the sliding glass panel has not yet
been installed, it is advisable to direct the jets appropriately.
Attaching the shower area to the wall
Corner version
I Remove the adhesive tape from the compensator (
2) and, making sure that it rests on the tub, push it up against the
wall (detail 4); remove any extra silicone.
I Check that the tub is perfectly level and at the correct
i
height (
8) and also check that the shower area is level
i
(
17, detail 5).
In particular, with regard to the panel, the area of the
groove in which the sliding glass panel will rest must be
level.
I Place the bracket so that its centre line matches up with the
join of the sliding profile (detail 6).
Always keeping the structure level, mark the position of the
bracket holes on the wall and on the sliding profile (detail 6a).
I Remove the bracket, drill the holes in the wall and insert the
plastic plugs (detail 7).
I Drill holes in the sliding profile to match up with the prepared
marks (detail 8) and, making sure that the other two holes match
up with the plugs in the wall, attach the screws and bolts as
shown.
CAUTION! Do not drill holes in the area marked in
detail a.
IMPORTANT: check that plugs have been put into the
floor for attaching the feet of the tub (see "Tub position-
ing"), as it will not be possible to carry out this operation
after the shower area has been attached to the walls.
