Cleaning the appliance

Use soft cleaning cloths and an all purpose cleaner with
a neutral pH value. Inside the appliance, use only
food safe detergent and cleaning products.
!
Warning!
Never clean the appliance with a steam cleaning
device. The steam may reach live electrical parts in
the appliance and cause a short circuit or cause an
electric shock. The steam may damage the plastic
surfaces.
Information!
Never clean drawers, shelves or the freezing tray in
the dishwasher. The parts may warp.
Do not use arenaceous or acidic cleaning agents or
solvents.
Do not allow rinsing water to get into the control
panel.
1. Remove all food from the appliance.
2. Switch off the appliance.
3. Unplug the appliance from the mains or switch off
the fuse.
4. Only clean the door seal with clean water, and rub it
dry thoroughly.
5. Clean the appliance with lukewarm rinsing water.
The rinsing water must not get into the control panel.
6. Wash removable parts by hand using lukewarm
rinsing water.
7. Remove dirt on ventilation openings using a vacuum
cleaner.
8. Clean the appliance surface using a damp cloth.
9. Rub everything dry.
10. After cleaning: Plug the appliance into the mains or
switch on the fuse.
11. Switch on the appliance.
12. Switch on SuperFrost.
13. When the temperature is cold enough again:
Arrange your food.

Odours

If you notice unpleasant odours:
1. Switch off the appliance.
2. Remove all food from the appliance.
3. Clean the inside of the appliance. See Cleaning the
appliance".
4. Clean all packaging units inside the appliance.
5. Package all strong smelling foods so that they are
air tight in order to prevent odours from forming.
6. Switch on the appliance.
7. Arrange your food.
8. After 24 hours check whether odours have formed
again.

Operating noises

Normal operating noises

Humming − the refrigeration unit is running.
Bubbling, whirring or gurgling noises − refrigerant is
flowing through the pipes.
Clicking − the refrigeration unit is switching on or off.

Noises that can easily be eliminated

The appliance is positioned unevenly
Use a spirit level to align the appliance.
Use the threaded feet for this, or place something
underneath the feet.
Drawers, the freezing tray or shelves are
wobbling or sticking
Check the removable parts and reinsert them if
necessary.
Containers are touching
Move bottles or containers apart slightly.
