During use

Never use electrical appliances inside the freezer

(e.g. heaters, electric ice makers, etc.).
Risk of explosion.
Never defrost or clean the appliance with a steam

cleaning device. The steam may reach electrical
parts and trigger a short circuit or cause an electric
shock.
Risk of electric shock.
Do not store products with flammable propellant

gases (e.g. spray cans) or explosive substances
inside the appliance.
Risk of explosion.
Do not misuse the base, rails, doors etc. as a step
D
or support.
For defrosting and cleaning, unplug the appliance
D
from the mains or switch off the fuse.
Pull on the mains plug, not on the connecting cable.
Caution: If the appliance is switched off at the
control panel, the power supply is not interrupted.
Only store high proof alcohol tightly sealed and in an
D
upright position.
Do not contaminate plastic parts or door seals with
D
oil or grease. Plastic parts and door seals will
otherwise become porous.
Never cover or block ventilation openings for the

appliance.
Do not store liquids in bottles or tins in the freezer
D
compartment (in particular carbonated drinks).
Bottles and tins may burst.
Never eat frozen foods immediately after they have
D
been taken out of the freezer compartment.
Risk of freeze burn.
Never touch frozen foods with wet hands. Your

hands may freeze to the foods.
Risk of injury.
Do not scrape off the frost layer or food that has
D
frozen solid using a knife or sharp object. You could
damage the refrigerant pipes. If refrigerant sprays
out, it can ignite or cause eye injuries.
Persons with limited physical, sensory or

psychological capacities or those without sufficient
knowledge must only use this appliance under
supervision or with detailed instructions.

The appliance is not a child's toy.

For appliances with a door lock: Keep the key out of

the reach of children.

General requirements

The appliance is suitable for freezing and storing food,
as well as for making ice.
The appliance is only intended for use in the household.
The appliance is interference suppressed in line with
EU directive 89/336/EEC.
The refrigeration circuit has been checked for leak
tightness.
This appliance corresponds to the relevant safety
requirements for electrical appliances (EN 60335/2/24).
