Freezer tray

The freezer tray allows you to freeze berries, herbs,
vegetables and other small frozen food items without
them freezing together. The frozen foods retain their
shape as much as possible and it is easier to divide
them into portions later on.
Rechargeable refrigeration batteries can be stored on
the freezer tray to save space.
Using the freezer tray:
1. Distribute the frozen foods loosely on the freezer tray.
2. Hang the freezer tray in one of the upper drawers.
3. Allow the food to freeze for 10 to 12 hours.
4. Put the frozen foods in freezer bags or containers.
5. Store the freezer bags or containers in a drawer.
6. To defrost, spread out the frozen foods loosely once
again.

Rechargeable refrigeration batteries

The rechargeable refrigeration batteries prevent the
temperature from rising too rapidly in the event of a
power failure.
Depending on your appliance type, you can freeze and
store the rechargeable refrigeration batteries either in the
freezer tray or the ceiling of the freezer compartment.
Inserting rechargeable refrigeration batteries:
1. Remove the top drawer.
2. Slide the rechargeable refrigeration battery in the
ceiling of the freezer compartment, at the back at
the top, and engage it at the front.
Removing rechargeable refrigeration batteries:
1. Remove the top drawer.
2. Grip the side of the rechargeable refrigeration battery
and push it downwards.
