Before proceeding, follow the instructions provided
in the "Safety instructions for disposal" booklet sup-
plied with this product.
• This appliance is manufactured to a high standard
of craftsmanship. To ensure a long service life and
overall electrical and mechanical reliability, it must
be properly used and subjected to regular mainte-
nance.
• Do not use this appliance for functions other than
those described in this booklet.
• After removing the appliance from its packaging,
ensure that it is complete and undamaged. If in
doubt contact Vortice*. Do not leave packaging
within the reach of children or infirm persons.
• Do not sit on the appliance or leave objects stan-
ding on it (fig. 1).
• Certain fundamental rules must be observed when
using any electrical appliance: a) Never touch elec-
trical appliances with wet or damp hands; b) Never
touch electrical appliances when standing barefoot.
• Do not use the appliance where flammable
vapours are present (spirit, insecticides, petrol,
etc.) (fig. 2).
• If you decide to stop using the appliance, switch it
off and disconnect it from the power supply, storing
it out of reach of children and infirm persons.
