3. Intended use

The weather station allows you to display various readings for indoor/outdoor temperature, indoor/outdoor
humidity, air pressure, the amount of rainfall, wind speed and wind direction, for example.
The measurement data of the outdoor sensor are transmitted wirelessly by radio to the weather station.
The weather station also calculates a weather forecast for the next 12 - 24 hours, which is then represen-
ted by graphic symbols on the display, by means of an internal air pressure sensor and recorded air pres-
sure changes.
Time and date are set automatically via the DCF signal; however, in case of reception issues, a manual
adjustment is made possible. There is also an alarm function with sleep timer ("Snooze") built-in.
The weather station is powered by two batteries of the type AA/Mignon. The outdoor sensor is powered
by an integrated solar cell, if the ambient light is sufficient. Four batteries of the type AA/Mignon ensure
ongoing operation when the light is not sufficient.
